Shad Smith
Shad Smith is a featherweight and bantamweight mixed martial artist with a record of 12-16 with two draws as well. He was a pioneer as an openly gay MMA fighter. He formerly fought at lightweight.
Smith has fought such names as Jared Papazian (twice), Toby Imada, Nam Phan, Dominick Cruz, Charles Bennett and Duane Ludwig losing to almost all (defeating Papazian once).
He most recently faced Marvin Garcia losing a unanimous decision. He then fought Del Hawkins winning via first round rear-naked choke submission.
Smith next made a stint in BAMMA, fighting Chad George losing via first round arm triangle choke submission before then losing to Chris Beal via unanimous decision.
Smith is next set to make his Bellator debut against Aaron Miller.
