The fight was a controversial referee stoppage by Cecil Peoples.

The first round began and they touched gloves. They circled. Sell landed a jab. Sell landed another left jab and a right hand. Quarry landed a leg kick and ate a left hook. Four thirty. Quarry landed a big left hand and dropped Sell and came in but Peoples stopped it, riding Quarry's back telling them to stop. Peoples was still riding them. Sell said 'bullshit'.
