Matt Veach is a welterweight and lightweight fighter.

He was most recently cut from the UFC after back-to-back losses to Frank Edgar and Paul Kelly. He picked up a pair of victories quickly after, a decision over Kalel Robinson in June and an arm triangle submission victory over McKinze Jackson in August.

In his next fight, Veach won the Cage Warriors Fighting Championships lightweight title in a fifth-round decision rout against Kenneth Rosfort-Nees. He next made his MFC debut, replacing injured lightweight champion Antonio McKee against fellow newcomer Drew Fickett. Fickett defeated Veach with an armbar submission thirty seconds into the first round.

Veach was next set to defend his Cage Warriors FC lightweight title against prospect Reza Madadi. Unfortunately he was injured and forced to pull out.

After recovering, Veach faced Eric Wisely losing via second round armbar submission. Veach then fought Zac Kelley in August 2012, winning via technical knockout with two seconds left in the first round.

Veach next moved up to welterweight to make his BAMMA debut against Bellator veteran Jim Wallhead. Wallhead sliced Veach up with elbows before locking up a first round rear-naked choke submission.
