The Fight[]
The first round began. Fickett landed a counter right hand. Weir shot for a double, Fickett stuffed it and ended up on top in half-guard. Weir got a sweep defending the backtaking and he got caught in the butterflies. They stood to the clinch. Fickett had double underhooks. Fickett dropped back and pulled half-guard with a guillotine attempt. Weir stood landing three good right hands downwards. He came down to half-guard with two big rights. Three more big rights coming down to guard. Three more big rights. Fickett took the back in a scramble with one hook in. He had both hooks and he had the choke locked in and Weir was about ready to tap. He tapped out there.
