The first round began. Olsen looked very nervous to start things out. Hallman landed a leg kick, Olsen got a relentless single to guard and landed a right hand. Hallman worked towards an armbar. Olsen was working from the top pretty well. He defended a kimura and pounded to the body effectively. Hallman gasped for breath already. Hallman worked for a guillotine, maybe as a distraction, not really committing. Hallman swept to mount working for a strange sort of armlock. Olsen was fighting it. Hallman still had that armlock, working it tight and Olsen tapped. They shook hands and Olsen applauded.
