Anthony Waldburger is a welterweight fighter.

He was most recently set to make his UFC debut versus Matt Riddle but got injured and replaced by Sean Pierson. After recovering, he was next set to make his debut against veteran Dennis Hallman. Instead, Hallman was injured and replaced by wrestler Johny Hendricks. Hendricks defeated the newcomer Waldburger via first-round TKO.

Waldburger was next set to face Daniel Roberts in what was most likely a loser-leaves-town matchup. Five days before the bout, Roberts was injured and forced to pull out. He was replaced by newcomer Mike Stumpf. Waldburger defeated Stumpf via first-round triangle choke submission to earn Submission of the Night honors.

Waldburger next faced Jake Hecht in Australia, winning in less than a minute via a beautiful armbar submission. He wasted no time in signing for his next fight against veteran Brian Ebersole. Ebersole defeated Waldburger via a close and exciting unanimous decision after a great fight in which both men gained legions of new fans.

Waldburger next welcomed middleweight veteran Nick Catone to the welterweight division, choking Catone unconscious via second round triangle choke submission to earn Submission of the Night honors.

Waldburger was next set to fight Sean Pierson before being injured and replaced by Kenny Robertson.

After recovering Waldburger fought Adlan Amagov losing via a very vicious first round knockout.

Waldburger next signed to fight veteran Mike Pyle.
